We're Partnering with EJC to Support Climate Journalists
We’ve got some exciting news to share: The Newsroom is partnering with the European Journalism Centre (EJC) to make climate reporting easier, faster, and more insightful.
Why this matters
Journalists today are up against an overwhelming amount of new climate science: constantly emerging studies, shifting data, and complex findings that are hard to keep track of, let alone report on quickly and clearly. That’s where Climate Blocks comes in. It helps:
• Explore the full research landscape
• Identify key people, institutions, and emerging ideas
• Understand how findings connect across sources
• Trace every insight back to its origin Rather than giving magic answers, it gathers the evidence so as a journalist you can dig deeper, spot the signal through the noise, and draw your own conclusions.
What this partnership means
EJC grantees and members of their wider community will get early access to Climate Blocks. This collaboration is all about supporting the journalists who are already doing vital work and giving them smarter tools to keep going. We’ve worked closely with EJC, and we’re proud to be joining forces to support the future of climate journalism.
What’s next?
We’ll be sharing more updates soon as we get closer to launch. In the meantime, we’re excited about what this means for the climate journalism community and grateful to EJC for the chance to work together on something that really matters. Stay tuned!
